Chaman: A blast in Chaman on Friday has left six people critically injured. More than ten shops caught fire in the commercial area near the spot of the explosion. The explosion occurred at the Mall Road in Chaman as people were headed towards the mosque to offer Friday prayers. The police believe that the blast was aimed at a vehicle of a law enforcement agency and was set off via a remote control as a parked motorcycle exploded near the roadside. The blast caused serious damage to the vehicles present on the road. The injured have been shifted to Civil Hospital Chaman and some of them are believed to be critical. Law enforcement agencies are currently present on the site and a search operation has begun. It is also reported that mobile services in Chaman had been suspended an hour before the attack because of security threats.
