MALAKAND: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari who is contesting from NA-8 Malakand assured that the upcoming general election will be held on July 25 while addressing a press conference on Sunday. PPP Chairman said that he has come to meet the people regardless of cancellation of his public gathering due to the recent suicide blast which claimed the lives 131 innocent civilians in Mastung on July 13. Bilawal stated that he will visit Quetta soon to express his condolences with families of victims. On the other hand, he added that free and fair elections is everyone’s right. He emphasised that terrorists don’t want general elections to be held on time. Bilawal further said that a controversial Parliament will be not able to overcome problems of the people. We have to mainly focus on basic necessities like gas and water, he added. He also highlighted that the National Action Plan of the country was not completely implemented while responding to a question during the conference. He said the PPP should not be pushed against the wall. Furthermore, he said that the term used by PTI chief Imran Khan’s for supporters of other political parties is “shocking” as for someone who contesting to be a candidate for the prime minister of the country.
