KARACHI: The President of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian (PPPP) Asif Ali Zardari has uncountable abilities with sheer political expertise to convince even any of the political opponents to voice with him. Shah Mehmood Qureshi, central vice chairman of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) said while talking to media at Haleem Adil Shaikh residence, said that Asif Ali Zardari and his party has still firm ground in the politics of Sindh. “It is fact whether even one goes against it.” He was of the view that politicians intending to join PPP are free of any pressure and taking decisions of their own. “I have never brought people into the fold of PTI nor did I stop them from joining the PPP,” Qureshi said. The federal government has lost two important years for not implementing the National Action Plan (NAP), especially in Punjab and interior of Sindh. Incidents like Lahore and Lal Shabaz Qalendar could not have happened if the government sincerely implemented agenda of NAP and this is still a question mark on it, he added. The 21st amendment in the constitution has been brought with the consent of all political parties but present government has changed the draft. When it was changed the political parties had not been taken into confidence but now the news are the air that Nawaz Government was now considering for review on the draft of 21st amendment. Islamabad had convened All Parties Conference (APC) when PTI was staging sit-in but in the national interest we attended the APC. If the rulers had to start Rangers operation in Punjab and interior Sindh like inKarachi, recent past terrorist incidents could not have happened. He demanded. He was of the view that judges and witnesses in terrorist cases should have been given government protection instead of opting for setting up of military courts.
