“Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) was made for the betterment of humanity and we were the first ones to raise the slogan of ‘wake up Karachi, wake up Sindh, wake up Pakistan’,” said PSP Chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal on Friday. The PSP chairman inaugurated election offices in various parts of the metropolis on Friday. After inaugurating the party’s election offices in NA 247, PS 111, PS 110, NA 24 and PS 109, Mustafa Kamal attended a dinner arranged by Iqra University’s Chancellor Iram Lakhani. Muhammad Ijaz, Fauzia Kasuri, Syed Mubashir Imam, Muhammad Dilawar also accompanied the party chairman. During his visit to election offices, the PSP chairman advised the contestants to go door to door and tell the people that Mustafa Kamal will work on Karachi the way he did before. He said that PSP was the right option for the residents of Karachi. Mustafa told the gathering that the PSP was striving for betterment of humanity. “We have eradicated the environment of hatred that prevailed in Karachi,” said Mustafa Kamal in his address. The PSP chairman said that his party had a very clear narrative for solving the problems of people. He added that the PSP did not discriminate on the basis of caste, creed or religion. Mustafa Kamal stressed on the need to create an environment of brotherhood. He went on to say that his mission to eradicate hatred will not stop. Lambasting the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Mustafa Kamal said that those who once raised the slogan of ‘wake up muhajir’ were opting for seat adjustments with ANP now. PSP Secretary General Raza Haroon said in his speech that the upcoming elections will bid farewell to the worn out system. He said that soon it would be time to welcome back Mustafa Kamal, adding that those who knew about the past performance of Mustafa Kamal were sure to vote for PSP but even those who knew about the performance of MQM and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would vote for PSP. Fauzia Kasuri also gave a speech on the occasion. She said that the people could defeat their oppressors by supporting PSP and voting for dolphin. Kasuri added that she could have joined other parties but she chose to join PSP because Mustafa Kamal and his companions had struggled a lot for peace and stability in Karachi.
