The City Traffic Police on Monday paid rich tributes to a martyred traffic warden’s family on their visit to traffic police office. Traffic warden Shahid Sarwar was shot dead by a citizen over a minor dispute on Ramadan 27 in Rawalpindi’s Committee Chauk area. The City Traffic Police officials presented guard of honour to the deceased’s father, children and other family members. Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Muhammad Bin Ashraf had specially invited the martyr’s family. CTO Muhammad Bin Ashraf, former CTO Yousaf Ali Shahid, Deputy Superintendent Police Headquarter Taimur Khan and other officers were present on the occasion to pay homage to the martyred traffic warden and his family. Later, the CTO presented gifts to the Shahid Sarwar’s children. While talking to media persons on the occasion, Muhammad Bin Ashraf said that Sarwar was the pride of the police department.
