MULTAN: The nomination papers for the general election 2018 of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi shows that he owns assets worth Rs. 283 million. PTI leader, who aims to contest upcoming general elections from Multan’s NA -156 constituency, owns two houses in Multan, one house in Lahore, an apartment in Islamabad and two plots in Bahawalpur. Reportedly, Qureshi possesses £88,000 in a bank account in London. According to the documents, Mrs. Qureshi owns two plots worth Rs5.2 million in Bahawalpur and a six and a half marla plot in Multan. Moreover, Qureshi’s wife also holds £26,512 in her foreign account. Qureshi served as Foreign Minister in Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) tenure (from 2008 to 2011), he later joined PTI.
