A batch of 41 under-training (Pre-Service) civil judges/judicial magistrates from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy called on Prime Minister Justice (r) Nasirul Mulk here at the Prime Minister’s Office on Friday. The prime minister welcomed the newly inducted judicial officers and congratulated them on their induction into judiciary. He said that the trial court was the foundation and the judges need to be extra careful in dispensing justice to the people at these courts. The prime minister briefed the officers about the functions and mandate of the caretaker government. He appreciated the efforts of past and present management of the KP Judicial Academy for their valuable contribution towards development of judicial academy and ensuring quality training of the newly inducted judicial officers. The prime minister also had an interactive session with the trainee officers. Separately, the prime minister chaired a meeting of the federal cabinet at the PM Office here on Friday. The cabinet accepted resignation of Managing Director Bait-ul-Mal Barrister Abid Waheed Sheikh and approved giving additional charge of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal to Additional Secretary Cabinet Division. The cabinet accorded its approval to signing of an MoU between the governments of Pakistan and Sudan for cooperation in human resource development. The Government of Pakistan’s US Dollars Denominated Amnesty Bonds Rules, 2018 were also approved by the cabinet. The cabinet expressed condolences over the demise of veteran diplomat Jamsheed Marker and paid a glowing tribute to his services in the field of diplomacy for the country.
