DADU: Ex-PPP MNA from Dadu Dr Talat Iqbal Mahisar joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) along with his family members and supporters on Monday. Ex-PPP MNA Dr Talat Iqbal Mahisar, Sardar Tufail Ahmed Mahisar, Bashir Ahmed Mahisar, Imtiaz Ahmed Mahisar and Saqib Tufail Ahmed Mahisar met the former Sindh chief minister and PTI leader Liaquat Ali Jatoi at Jatoi house in village Betto Jatoi and announced their decision to join PTI after lengthy discussion. In a joint press conference with Liaquat Jatoi, Talat Iqbal announced that he and his supporters will support PTI candidates during general elections 2018 in Dadu district and all other parts. Liaquat Jatoi said that Talat and his family’s inclusion in the PTI will further strengthen the party in Sindh. He said that owing to corruption, nepotism and injustice with people in Sindh by PPP leadership and rulers in last ten years, people were joining PTI. He said that law and order situation had worsened and infra-structure of the government departments had been destroyed in Sindh. Talat Iqbal said that he had left PPP because PPP leadership had neglected the real PPP activists after assassination of Benazir Bhutto. He said that Mahisar family was affiliated with party founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto since the day PPP was founded. He said that Mahisar family had ended all political relations with PPP. He said that he had confidence on PTI leadership like Liaquat Ali Jatoi and Imran Khan and will remain loyal to PTI forever. Sardar Tufail Ahmed Mahisar said that he and his family members and people from his tribe will support PTI candidates in Dadu district and other parts of Sindh. Talat Iqbal Mahisar was elected as PPP MNA in general election 2008 and he is the brother of late senior politician, Rafiq Mahisar. Talat is the son in law of former federal minister and PPP leader Haji Zaffar Ahmed Leghari. Other 8 PPP leaders who have left the party and joined PTI are Abdul Sattar Kandhro, Dr Nazeer Kandhro, Ayoob Gorar, Siraj Gorar, Gulzar Ahmed Shaikh, Shahnawaz Mallah, Meer Mallah and Amir Mallah. Speaking to the public gathering, PTI leader, Liaquat Ali Jatoi said that people of Sindh are joining PTI by declaring their confidence in PTI chairman Imran Khan. He said that PTI was one of the parties in country which will provide the basic rights to the people. He said that PPP could not deliver to the masses in last 10 years hence people were changing their loyalties from PPP and are joining PTI. He said that PTI will control corruption and will improve health, education sectors and infra structure of towns. He appealed people to join PTI and join their hands as they can bring change for public interests. On occasion, Karim Ali Jatoi, PTI candidate for NA 235 Dadu-Johi, Sardar Ashiq Ali Zour, PTI candidate for Ps 85, Dr Khalil Sikandar Khunharo, Waqar Khan Kamangar, Ayoob Khoso, Haji Abdul Latif Arain, Advocate Zulifiqar, Dr Ghulam Abbas Mahisar and Niaz Buriro also spoke. PTI held rallies in Dadu, Mehar, KN Shah and Johi and celebrated the joining of PPP leadership in PTI.
