In a major bureaucracy reshuffle, the chief secretaries and inspectors general of all four provinces were replaced on Wednesday. According to a notification, Kaleem Imam was appointed Punjab Police inspector general, replacing Captain (r) Arif Nawaz Khan. Prior to his latest appointment, Imam served as Islamabad IG and Motorway Police, and also worked for the UN peacekeeping mission. Amjad Saleemi, IG National Highway & Motorway Police, was made new Sindh Police. He replaced AD Khawaja. Mohammad Tahir was appointed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police IG, replacing Salahuddin Mehsud. Mohsin Butt was appointed new Balochistan Police chief. Meanwhile, Akhtar Nazir Warraich, Naveed Kamran Baloch, Azam Salman and Akbar Durrani were made Balochistan, KP, Sindh and Punjab chief secretaries, respectively.
