LAHORE: Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rasheed was left standing in shock after a man hurled his shoe at him in Lahoreon Saturday. While speaking with the journalists, he said that he was at war with Nawaz Sharif, not cricket.He considered it a wise decision to hold the PSL 2017 final match in Punjab’s provincial capital. The matter quickly escalated when an elderly man hurled his shoe at the lawmaker. The Railway Police quickly took the person into custody, who threw his ‘Peshawari Chappal’, which struck the leader in public. The man who hurled the shoe was identified as Faqir Muhammad alias Baba Lakhpati. He said that his political rivalry with the AML chief drove him to do so.
