KARACHI: In the last few days police in all around the city has conducted dozens of raids to nab illegal foreigners in accordance with the national action plan. These operations have revealed that illegal foreigners succeeded to get home for temporary stay in the biggest city or around the country easily. According to a senior police officer some reports were on the record from several law-enforcement agencies that after intense operation against illegal foreigners they still can be seen on the roads and streets and working with out any problem. The agencies tried to come up with the reasons for it and came to know that the big issue is that the illegal foreigners are acquiring places to live quite easily. That’s why the police has a new plan to discourage citizens supporting illegal foreigners by giving them places to stay. “we are nabbing the house owners just because they have not submitted the essential forms in relevant police stations before giving their homes to illegal foreigners on rent. Its an illegal activity according to the news act passed which was passed by sindh government last year in the view of national action plan and the apex committee reports had also recommended according to this act made necessary for house owners to submit the record and data of the persons who are getting house for rent” DIG South Azad Khan told Dailytimes. In last few days Karachi the police arrested over 1000 illegal foreigners including afghan, bangali and others and in this ongoing operation the police has also nabbed over 150 house owners as well.
