ISLAMABAD: Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) chief Anil Khanna of India will visit Pakistan on March 24 to observe the development of the sport in the country. He will be accompanied by ATF secretary Sri Lanka’s Subramaniam Surendran. The duo will attend constitution and finance committee meeting of the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF). They will also visit Islamabad after their meeting in Lahore. The officials will attend ATF Junior Players Development Committee meeting. PTF president Salim Saifullah Khan will be heading the meeting in Islamabad. PTF secretary Khalid Rehmani said the country would benefit from ATF’s top officials’ visit. “The PTF will also propose for the establishment of ATF offices in Pakistan, which would help the players in getting the training facilities within the country. This is positive for us,” Rehmani said. “They will see the work we are doing and that way they can trust us and hopefully support us in establishing an ATF offices here with facilities. This will also help us in getting the international events to Pakistan,” he added.
