DADU: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Sindh chief minister Liaquat Ali Jatoi on Tuesday challenged Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PPP co chairman Asif Ali Zardari to contest election from Dadu district. He accused PPP of massive corruption while he was addressing a public gathering at Fareedabad town. He claimed that PPP has lost its influence and vote bank from Dadu and other regions of the Sindh as well. He alleged that Sindh government’s budget was being wasted on the living expenses of ministers who had done nothing for the betterment of the people in the past ten years. He said that Sindh has been ruined by corrupt leaders who plan to run their election campaign with ‘fake promises’. He said that the people of Sindh are fully aware of the corrupt leaders who register baseless and ‘fake’ cases against PTI activists during protests. “Time has come for a change and the corrupt would be given a response for their illegal tactics. PTI would recover the looted money,” he pledged. He claimed that the poverty-stricken children are deprived of education which is their fundamental right while corrupt rulers enjoy from the budget allocated for schools and institutions.
