LAHORE: The hearing of the contempt of court and ban on hate speeches against the judges case against former premier Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz and others was held was held on Monday but the full bench once again dissolved as Justice Shahid Mubeen withdrew himself. Amna Malik and Muneer Ahmad had filed petition through Advocate Azhar Siddique, alleging the former prime minister and his daughter of contemptuous speeches against the court after the disqualification of ex PM and the subsequent removal from the office of the premier. They also said that PEMRA had taken no action regarding this matter. They requested the court to order PEMRA to ban the transmission of such speeches that are against the judiciary and also take action against Nawaz and Maryam for the contempt of court. A three-member panel headed by Justice Muzahir Ali Akbar Naqvi heard the case. Other members included Justice Shahid Mubeen and Justice Atir Mehmood.
