LAHORE: Pakistani Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr Tahirul Qadri was reportedly hospitalised in a hospital in Toronto after he being diagnosed with chest infection a few days earlier. The cleric was being taken care of at home earlier but as his condition worsened he was admitted to a private hospital. He remained under observation at the medical facility as various medical tests were being conducted. PAT has appealed to the public to pray for their founder’s quick recovery. Tahirul Qadri is the founder of the NGO Minhaj-ul-Quran International and established it in 1981 in Lahore but has been living in Canada since 2005.
