ISLAMABAD: Former Squash World Champion, Jansher Khan, along with younger son Ali Sher Khan and nephew Yaseen Ijaz, called on the Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi today at PM Office Islamabad. The meeting rounded up talks on squash performance and support from Pakistan’s government for squash. The Prime Minister is to even call a meeting of the President of Squash and all ex-legends on how to better the sport for all in the future. Khan asked for special attention and support from the civil government as well as essential need of funds for Squash betterment. He also added that the country needs better academies than the Pakistan National Squash Academy (PNSA), the sort which will give more job and employment opportunities to Squash players, such as in the case of PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) offerings. Khaqan Abbasi lauded Jansher Khan’s efforts for bettering and improving the experience of the sport for the people of Pakistan, for almost 10 years.
