KHYBER AGENCY: Like elsewhere in the country, the tribesmen observed Kashmir solidarity on Monday with a pledge to continue moral and political support to people of Kashmir till getting of their freedom. In this connection a rally was jointly organized at Bacha Khan Square, Main Bazaar under the auspices of Jamaat-e-Islam (JI) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Fazal Rehman (JUI-F) Landi Kotal chapter that was attended by local leaderships of both the parties besides a large number of the party’s workers, members of civil society and tribesmen. Addressing on the occasion, JI naib Ameer Fata, Zernoor Afridi said that 5th February was not to express solidarity only with the people of Kashmir but to remember all the suppressed Muslims of the World. “Kashmir is an integral part of Pakistan and the Indian forces cannot subjugate the people of Kashmir, at gun point, he added and saying because of aggressive policies of what he said three terrorist i.e., America, India and Israel, the World has become a hell for peaceful nations. He said in 1948, the tribesmen had rendered great sacrifices for the freedom of Kashmir and will continue their support for the people of occupied Kashmir till getting of their freedom. He also criticized the United Nation (UN) for its role of a silent spectator and said it had become an organization to safeguard interest of US. He regretted that government was not serious to resolve the long standing problems faced by the tribal people. Pattern in chief of JUI-F, Fata Sahibzada Muhammad Umar Banouri said that for the last 70 years innocent people of Kashmir had been subjected to inhuman torture and atrocities at the hand of 0.7 million usurpers force of India but the so called champion of human rights and league of civilized nations had turned blind eyes towards it that was regretful. He added that sooner or later Kashmir would become part of Pakistan and depressed people of Kashmir would get freedom. He stressed upon the UN and the western powers to play their effective role in solving of long lasting issue of Kashmir as per wishes of the people of Kashmir.
