PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif lashed out at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Sunday for failing to perform in the province. Speaking to a party rally in Peshawar, Nawaz said that PTI chief Imran Khan and his party have failed to transform the province for the better and that his ‘Naya Pakistan’ is nowhere to be seen. “Where is the naya (new) Pakistan? Can you see it anywhere?,” the PML-N chief said, adding that the party can solve all issues in the province if the people of KP elect Nawaz league to power. The former prime minister also stressed that the PML-N government has initiated development projects across the country and that the party would again succeed in the upcoming elections based on its five-year performance. Referring to Saturday’s suicide attack in Swat, Nawaz said that his prayers are with the victims, adding that the security officials who embraced martyrdom in the attack are heroes of the nation.
