LAHORE: Railways Minister Saad Rafique lashed out at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday during a press conference. Taking a jibe at Khan, Saad said that the PTI chief is regularly paid his salaries by the parliament, but still continues to utter abusive remarks against it. “Imran never attends a parliament session, is regularly paid his salary, but he stills goes on to curse the parliament,” said Rafique. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader also claimed that the joint rally on Mall Road failed because Imran and other political opponents cannot fool the public. Rafique also blasted Zardari saying that the former president has changed PPP for the worse, while he also criticised the Sindh government for turning Karachi into a ‘garbage dump’. Talking about PML-N president Nawaz Sharif, Rafique claimed that the former prime minister might not be the country’s leader anymore, but he is more powerful than ever now. “Nawaz Sharif is not the prime minister anymore but he is even more powerful and popular than before,” said Rafique.
