KARACHI: Police authorities identified two people involved in the terrible Sehwan Sharif bombing which claimed the lives of 90 devotees in February, sources stated. Additional Inspector-General Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Sanaullah Abbasi told media that the facilatators were identified via CCTV footage compiled from the days leading upto the deadly attack, which also left 300 people injured. He played the footage that showed the suspects speaking to the bomber at the shrine on February 15, just a day before the bombing. He also revealed that the bomber and the facilitator spent an hour at the shrine on that day. The senior police official said that the attackers and suspects had carried out reconnaissance of the shrine where the bombing took place when devotees were present at large numbers inside the shrine. NADRA has also been sent photos of the culprits taken from the CCTV footage meanwhile a Rs5 million reward has also been put up for the arrest of the suspects.
