RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday said that Indian aggression and violations of the Line of Control (LOC) ceasefire agreement will be befittingly answered. According to a press release issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), COAS visited the LOC and Working Boundary in Khuiratta and Ratta Arayan sectors, where he was briefed about Indian violations, civilian casualties and injuries due to aggression from across the border. “Our commitment to abide by the ceasefire agreement of 2003 should never be misconstrued as response limitation,” the COAS was quoted as saying by the ISPR. General Bajwa also commended the armed forces’ professionalism and effectiveness in dealing with Indian aggression at the LOC, while he also paid visit at Civil Military Hospital Sialkot to civilians injured, the press release further added. COAS was accompanied by Commander Rawalpindi Corps Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza and Commander Gujranwala Corps Lieutenant General Amir Abbasi during the visit.
