LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chairman Tahirul Qadri has stated on Tuesday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari would share the stage during the sit-in against the government. Earlier, PTI spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry said that Imran had refused to share the stage with former president during PAT sit-in that seeks resignations of Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif and law minister Rana Sanaullah. Read more: Fawad Chaudhry says Imran Khan has refused to share stage with Zardari Speaking to the media, Qadri confirmed that PAT will conduct peaceful protests that would be according to law and democracy, also adding that both Imran and Zardari would be present on the occasion. “Protest will be carried out within the limits of Constitution and law as our movement is aimed at restorating real democracy in the country. They (ministers and officials of Punjab government involved in Model Town incident) would have to resign voluntarily.” Qadri. said. “All party representatives, including Imran and Zardari would be present during the protest.” He added.
