LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has said that Wednesday’s rally on The Mall will oust Shehbaz Sharif as the rule of Sharifs is taking its last breaths. Asif Ali Zardari arrived here on Monday to participate in the All Parties Conference (APC) rally at The Mall in which Imran Khan of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will also join him along with other leaders like Tahirul Qadri of Pakistan Awami Tehreek and Nasir Sherazi of Majlis Wahdat Muslameen. Former president of Pakistan soon after his arrival called a special meeting regarding the preparations of the protest rally tomorrow at the Bilawal House in Bahria Town in which PPP Central Punjab president Qamar Zaman Kaira, Secretary General Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmad, Usman Malik, Amjad Jatt, PPP Lahore Chapter president Haji Azizur Rehman Chann and other office bearers participated. The meeting fully reviews the preparations of the rally and Asif Ali Zardari advised the party workers to join it in good numbers as the days of rule of Sharifs are counted. According to the party sources in Bilawal House, Zardari while addressing the meeting said that the innocent blood of martyrs of Model Town tragedy would not be spoiled and Shahbaz Sharif must be ousted to his rule in Punjab. The sources informed that Zardari said to the party leaders that they must ensure good participation of workers in the protest as it would be result oriented. Meanwhile, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Senator Aitzaz Ahsan has said that despite anti-judiciary and Pak army talks from disqualified premier Nawaz Sharif, courts are still dealing with him softly and sympathetically. He was addressing a press conference here on Monday after holding a special consultation meeting over the APC Protest on January 17 at the Mall Road with his party’s provincial head Qamar Zaman Kaira at his residence.
