ISLAMABAD: Urging the lawyers to stop boycotting the court proceedings over the Kasur incident, the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar on Thursday remarked that the head of the entire nation hangs in shame over the heinous crime. While hearing the case of Al Razi Medical College, Peshawar, the CJP extended condolences to the family of late Zainab, saying that the incident has left his wife more disturbed than him. Asking the lawyers to not boycott the court proceedings, he added that although [the nation is in] grief and anger, there is still no justification for the lawyers’ strike. on Wednesday, the CJP took a suo motu notice after the rape and murder of Zainab sparked nationwide outrage. He also ordered the Punjab Inspector General of Police to submit a report to the court within 24 hour
