LAHORE: Sindh will upgrade 4,450 schools in the region to improve the educational system, Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar said on Tuesday. This development came after a meeting with a delegation of Alif Ailaan. Jan Mehtab said that they would take measures such as waiver of admission, examination and enrollment fee for students of class 9 to class 12. Stipends would also be given to female students and educational policies would also be improved, he added. Optimistic about putting every child in the province in school, he said that in order to attract students, they would organise educational activities in rural areas. He further said that 56 English medium schools are also being created to improve the standard of education.
