LONDON: Former England and Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson has announced his retirement from football at the age of 37, according to media reports Monday. Robinson, who was out of contract after spending the last 18 months with Premier League side Burnley, gained 41 international caps and played in all five England matches on their run to the 2006 World Cup quarter-finals. Robinson, who started his career at Leeds United, made 175 appearances for Tottenham during a four-year spell at White Hart Lane, before he moved on to Blackburn Rovers, playing over 200 games over seven years for the Ewood Park outfit.
