KHYBER AGENCY: Customs Health Care Society (CHCS), a Pakistani non-government organisation, granted financial support to families of the 17 persons abducted more than two months ago from Landi Kotal. In this connection, a gathering was held at Landi Kotal Press Club on Wednesday, was attended by families of the abductees and local media persons. Muhammad Jameel, the representative of CHCS while speaking on the occasion, said that CHCS extended services to the victims of natural and manmade calamities, not only nationally but also internationally. He added that earlier the organisation had helped out people in Miranshah and Mir Ali and would continue its services in future. Jameel, on the behalf of CHCS Patron in Chief Dr Asif Mehmood Jah, gave away Rs 5,700 to each of the seven families. Wali Muhammad, of a family whose seven members were kidnapped, thanked CHCS for the initiative. He also urged Pakistan and Afghanistan governments to help them find their beloved ones.
