KHYBER AGENCY: An Afghan security official, captured by Pakistan forces for mistakenly entering Pakistan’s territory, was handed over to Afghan officials on the Torkham border, on Wednesday. A Pakistan security official said that the official of Afghan border security force, identified as Zabiullah, had been detained by the Frontier Corps (FC) when he unintentionally entered into Pakistani territory on the border of Kharlachi, Kurram Agency a few days ago. Zabiullah was then shifted to forces cantonment for investigation, the security official said. He said after the completion of necessary investigation, the Afghan citizen was handed over to Afghanistan by Pakistan officials including Khyber Rifles Commandant Col Farrukh Humayun, Landi Kotal Assistant Political Agent Niaz Muhammad and other officials. Before his return, the Afghan soldier was given gifts and seen off with best wishes by Pakistan officials, it was said.
