BAHAWALPUR: Provincial Assembly of the Punjab Member (MPA) Fozia Ayub Qureshi said that the joint initiative of Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Punjab and Microsoft had provided a solid and productive IT platform by imparting training to as many as 25 thousand students. The MPA said the training would hasten the pace of establishing a modern and forward looking economy in Punjab. She was talking to a delegation of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) youth workers, on Friday. “Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Punjab, a comprehensive and wide ranging training programme has been chalked out to teach various Microsoft certified IT-related programs to the youth, free of cost throughout the province”, the MPA remarked. She further said that Punjab government had launched the second phase of a free four-month training programme for the youth, to equip them with the latest information technology skills.
