PESHAWAR: Parents of the Army Public School massacre’s martyrs protested against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday, announcing the holding of a demonstration in front of the Chief Minister House in case there is no release of the inquiry report of the attack within the next two weeks. The parents of the children slain in the heartbreaking and crushing incident of terrorism which took place in 2014, chanted slogans against the PTI chief at the school’s archives library. The board of the archives directorate was also rooted up by the bereaved parents who took Imran Khan at his word when he had said that the archives library will be named in the honor of the martyrs, but no step was taken in regard of the matter. President martyrs forum Ajoon Khan said that there was no inquiry report produced of the incident up till now, adding that parents have filed a plea under the legal framework to gain their right to access of information. The parents boldly stated that their claim is against Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak and Imran Khan, asserting that their children were dead because of them. On December 16, 2014, 147 people, including 132 school going children were massacred in the deadliest terrorist attack in Pakistan’s history when the Army Public School in Peshawar Cantonment was stormed by terrorists, and they opened indiscriminate fire.
