KHAIRPUR: The streets of native city of former chief minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, converted in to garbage dump due to poor performance of NSUSC as well as Municipal Committee Khairpur, Daily Times learnt on Sunday. According to details, the residents of above 80 neighborhoods of Khairpur city facing several problems due to poor performance of NSUSC and Municipal committee Khairpur. The sanitation staff have made routine to come on work only occasionally when complaint become increased while streets of mohallas Sirai Ghanwer Khan, Bachal Shah, Shaheedabad, Altaf Colony, Abid colony, and other areas are looking like garbage’s and the sewerage mullahs are being flowing in the streets, therefore the people specially women, children, old man are suffering from very much trouble. A social worker Frahan mahar told he lodged several complaints before the NSUSC and Municipal Committee but they are not sending the staff to clean streets, he said that also requested councilor of M.C Abdul Wahab Soomro but situation is same. He said due to garbage in every street of Khairpur viral and allergies diseases rising but the authorities are not paying attention on basic issues. He appealed the Deputy Commissioner, Khairpur, NSUSC authorities and TMA to take immediately action for removing of garbage from streets otherwise citizens reserved rights to lodged the petition in the Sindh High Court, Sukkur Bench.
