ISLAMABAD: Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique said that there is no need to make the Dawn Leaks Inquiry report public. Saad Rafique was speaking in media where he made the statement in response to the opposition’s demand to make the report public. He further added that the meetings between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Bajwa were held in a cordial environment. Rafique also stressed that Maryam Nawaz had nothing to do with the entire matter. The minister claimed that the government and army have always been on the same page and one tweet does not make the matter any different. He said that the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) withdrawing its tweet and giving the prime minister the final authority is a positive step. Earlier on Wednesday, the Pakistan Army withdrew a tweet which had rejected a government notification regarding the Dawn Leaks, saying the issue had been settled after implementation of recommendations in the Inquiry Committee Report.
