Mohsin Naqvi, chief of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has announced $100,000 reward for each player in case the national side wins the upcoming Twenty20 World Cup, the PCB said on Sunday. Naqvi made the announcement during his visit to the Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore, where the Babar Azam-led side began the national camp on Saturday, according to the PCB. Currently undergoing a rigorous training camp in Lahore, the Green Shirts are set to commence their tour of Ireland on May 7, where they will face off against the Irish team in a three-match T20I series from May 10 to May 14. Subsequently, the national side will embark on a tour of England, engaging in a four-match T20I series starting from May 22. Mohsin Naqvi, during his interaction with the team, emphasized the importance of playing without pressure and urged the players to exhibit unwavering determination on the field. “Don’t care about anyone. Play only for Pakistan,” Naqvi remarked, encouraging a unified team effort.
