LARKANA: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari offered Eidul Azha prayers inside Bhutto mausoleum in Garhi Khuda Bukhsh. He was accompanied by former Sindh chief minister Qaim Ali Shah, Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani, ministers Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Suhail Anwer Siyal and other party leaders and workers. After the prayers he exchanged Eid greetings with them and party’s activists. Bilawal asked party leaders and activist to be fully prepared for next general elections. He directed elected local government representatives of Kambar-Shahdadkot district to remain in constant touch with the people of their respective areas and resolve their civic issues on priority. Ladies wing leaders also called on him. Workers also gave him job applications. The mausoleum was evacuated before his arrival as strict security arrangements were made during his presence. Separately, in a statement, Bilawal expressed grave concern over massacre of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar and demanded immediate end to the atrocities against the innocent Rohingyas. Strongly condemning the tragedy inflicted on the Rohingya people, in a statement, the PPP chairman said that reports about pouring in from Myanmar are horrifying and such barbaric massacre and ethnic-cleansing of Rohingya Muslims has pained entire world. Bilawal Bhutto urged the international community to intervene immediately to stop the genocide of Roningya Muslims and sort out all their issues peacefully including restoration of their basic human rights.
