LAHORE: The Kasur police have failed to trace a teenager who went missing almost four weeks ago when he went to offer Fajr prayers in a mosque near his house. According to details, 14-year-old Abdullah Mumtaz, s/o Mohammad Mumtaz and a resident of Gulshan-e-Subhan Colony, Pattoki, Kasur District, went to a mosque to offer Fajr prayers on August 20, 2017, and did not return. The family approached the police for the recovery of their child, but despite repeated visits to the police station concerned, the law enforcers are yet to trace the missing child. Family members said that they also approached Kasur DPO Ismail Kharak, and alleged that he was also not looking into the matter seriously. Published in Daily Times, September 14th 2017.
