DADU: Addressing a workers’ convention in connection with preparations for the 2018 general elections on Saturday, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) member and Sindh Senior Minister for Education and Literacy Nisar Khuhro stated that the party would contest all seats against the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in all parts of the country. The minister claimed that the political careers of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and PTI Chief Imran Khan were coming to an end soon. He said that there was no plan to form a technocratic government in the country but the assemblies would complete their tenures and elections will be held in 2018. Khuhro expressed confidence that PPP Chairman Bilwal Bhutto Zardari was a rising star in politics and had bright future in Pakistan’s political landscape. Meanwhile, party workers took out a candle-lit rally from the house of former Sindh Minister of Education Pir Mazhar ul Haq.
