KHAIRPUR: Celebrating Higher Education Commission (HEC)’s 15 years of excellence, a seminar was organised by Research, Innovation and Commercialisation (ORIC), Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur on ‘Role of HEC in strengthening office of ORIC’. Prof Dr Ghulam Abbas Shar, Director ORIC said, “HEC has streamlined higher education institutions in pursuit of quality research and innovation. SALU’s ORIC is working effectively in line with HEC guidelines. A number of research projects have been earned by faculty members, he said. Prof Dr Lutfullah Mangi said that main objective of ORIC was to maintain liaison with industry and academia. By establishing of office of ORIC, research and innovation have been enhanced. HEC’s initiatives are commendable, he added.
