A meeting of the owners of private nursing colleges was held on Saturday at a local hotel Organized by Pakistan Private Nursing Colleges Association. In the meeting, Adnan Paul gave the welcome speech and spoke in detail about the aims and objectives of the organization. On this occasion, the general secretary of the association, Dr. Sania Khera, said that biased actions against the private nursing institutes by the caretaker Punjab government will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He said that the health problems in our country have increased to such an extent that it is not a matter of the government alone to control them. Private medical institutes are working with the idea that they can serve their country and also reduce the burden of the government, but the recent move of the caretaker government of Punjab is very sad. It was tried that private institutes cannot use government hospitals for their business. This is not only very wrong but also an abuse of the health sector. He said that private nursing institutes and other institutions should be blamed. Instead, the government should focus on improving public health facilities at the government level. During the meeting, it was suggested that a delegation should immediately meet the Federal Health Minister Dr. Nadeem Jan and inform him of their problems so that he can be told that the National Examination Board and the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Association Irregularities and shortcomings can be eliminated. More than 50 college owners participated in the meeting.
