Sir: It is unfortunate that Quetta, Balochistan’s largest city has no decent public transport system. One can often see students climbing on to the roofs of buses because they aren’t enough buses in the city. Climbing on top of buses to get around the city exposes them to air pollution and makes their clothes dirty. The few buses that do operate in the city are a hub of pickpockets and thieves who deprive passengers of their cash and valueables, by taking advantage of how crowded they get. It is my request to the Balochistan government that something be done to solve this issue. MEHRAN ZAMURANI Turbat Published in Daily Times, October 3rd 2017.
