ISLAMABAD: A training camp for the forthcoming Junior World Squash Championship is in full swing at the Mushaf Squash Complex in Jinnah Sports Complex here, being held under the aegis of the Pakistan Squash Federation. The Junior World Squash Championship will be played in Tauranga, New Zealand from July 19-28. A spokesman for the PSF said Sunday that Pakistan can achieve the lost glory in squash but the players would have to work hard and give due attention to what their coaches tell them during training and coaching sessions. He also lauded the PSF for taking right decision at the right time for improvement of the game. He further added that during the camp the players had shown tremendous progress. “I am also hopeful that sooner Pakistan would succeed in achieving the lost glory in the world of squash,” he said. “Currently we have talented young players like Abbas Zaib, Mansoor Zaman, Zeeshan Gul, Mehran Javed, Haris Iqbal, Saif Ullah, Muhammad Ali, Abdul Qadir, Abdul Malik, Muhammad Furgan, Aziz Rashid, Zeeshan Zaib and Zeeshan Malik who are all participating in the camp,” he concluded.
