LAHORE: A woman was injured in a knife attack in Gujranwala on Saturday. The incident took place in an Ibrahim Colony street where the victim was reportedly standing when two masked men stabbed her. After 10 women were stabbed in Karachi, the Counter-terrorism Department was called for investigation who then decided to use the assistance of psychiatrists in Karachi to better understand the crime and motivations of the criminal. The pattern of this attack is similar to that of the series of knife attacks that have only recently started in Karachi and have sparked a sense of panic among the citizens. The attacks, although initially limited to Karachi, have now spread to other areas as well with this incident being the first in Gujranwala.
