Sir: Ex-army dictator General (r) Musharraf is unsuccessfully trying to get political mileage from the recent US operation that killed the most wanted man Osama Bin Laden in Abbottabad on May 2. General (r) Musharraf has unnecessarily criticised the present government for the US secret operations. It was his government that handed over the Pakistan Army bases to the US for conducting military operations and allowed them to launch drone attacks in Pakistan in the first place. There is now no need to shed crocodile tears on an army operation that he himself allowed in the past. MOHAMMAD KHAN SIAL Karachi
