Sir: It seems like the Apocalypse for the police in Quetta this week with as many as four policemen gunned down by armed assailants on Thursday. This is the second such deadly attack in the city in the past one week. While we love to hate our police, it must be said that it is at times like these that we must stand with our brothers in uniform. We seem to take for granted that it is these men who are always on the frontline when it comes to terrorism, be it sectarian or militant-related.It is a sad day for the police force in our country; let us say a little prayer for them.SOBIA GULIslamabad
