
A passenger van caught fire at a CNG station near Hyderabad Bypass early Wednesday. The blaze erupted during gas filling and created panic at the site. The van was travelling from Karachi to Hyderabad at the time. The sudden fire left several passengers trapped inside. However, nearby workers quickly alerted the authorities.
Rescue teams and police reached the scene soon after receiving the call. They acted fast and brought the flames under control. The firefighters also prevented the fire from spreading to nearby vehicles. Police later confirmed that the van’s gas cylinder exploded after the blaze started. This blast intensified the fire and worsened the damage.
Medical teams shifted all eight injured passengers to Civil Hospital Hyderabad. Doctors provided emergency treatment without delay. They checked the victims for burns and smoke inhalation. Most passengers sustained minor to moderate injuries. Their families were also informed immediately.
