LONDON: The former first lady Kulsoom Nawaz’s funeral prayer would be offered today (Thursday) at regent park mosque in London.
All the preparations to bring her body back to Pakistan have completed. Former premier Nawaz Sharif’s wife’s body will be brought back to the country via national airline’s flight PK 758.
Pakistan Mulsim League Nawaz (PML-N) president had flown to London to bring her body back.

Kulsoom’s daughter Asma Nawaz, her husband Usman Dar and two sons of Hussain Nawaz will also come to Pakistan today. However, Kulsoom’s sons, Hassan and Hussain, would not be able to attend her funeral in Lahore.
The Punjab government on Wednesday decided to extend the parole of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (r) Safdar by four days.
The three were released from Adiala Jail on parole hours after Nawaz Sharif’s ailing wife Kulsoom Nawaz passed away at a hospital in London on Tuesday.

They were initially released on a 12-hour parole to attend Kulsoom’s funeral, against a request by the Sharif family for a five-day parole.
On the other hand, all the preparations for Kulsoom’s funeral prayers at Lahore’s Sharif Medical Complex have completed. Her funeral prayer in Lahore is scheduled to be held on Friday around 5 o’clock. Maulana Tariq Jamil would lead the funeral prayer.
