The July 25 was the blessed day for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) as it emerged as the single largest party in Pakistan. The PTI won 116 seats in National assembly that paved way for it to make the government in center. The PTI after wining majority seats had been struggling to embrace independents and convinced other small parties to join PTI in forming the government. Currently, PTI claims that it has completed significant number of votes and two -third majority in the National Assembly.
PTI chairman Imran Khan has remarkably won in all five constituencies and kept his flag high in all five constituencies – NA-35 Bannu, NA-53 Islamabad, NA-95 Mianwali, NA-131 Lahore and NA-243 Karachi. However, the Election Commission of Paksitan (ECP) has withheld the results of 16 constituencies along with two seats of Imran Khan-NA-53 (Islamabad) and NA-131 (Lahore).
On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) bagged 62 general seats, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) 44, MQM 6, and independent candidates got 12 seats.

However, Imran Khan’s promise to make Naya Pakistan and to bring change depends on coalition of several parties and independents considering how Khan will manage to these coalition parties and independent candidates.
The promises made by Imran Khan during electioneering and before seem to be against reality in the initial stage of forming the government. Asking the support from the PML Q, the MQM and several independent candidates has made the stance of PTI shaddy. It is difficult to forget words like “CHOR” and “DAKU” against now allies and giving them green flag to same people to rule the country. It is enough to question Khan’s credibility.
