No shedding of our miseries

Author: Daily Times

Sir: Load shedding has not shed itself and has not ceased to lower our burdens. What happened to all the election promises some two-and-a-half years ago when we were told we would have uninterrupted power and lighting? Now that the winter months are here, ready to freeze our joints and the blood in our veins, should we ‘look forward’ to the added misery of gas load shedding coupled with electricity load shedding so that there is no way out for us?
Every hour, on the hour, the lights go out and our children sit around and wait for an entire hour before they can study again. There is no end in sight to the trials and tribulations we face.
