Govt accords to protection of minorities’ rights

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said that Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) government has always accorded top priority to protection of minorities’ rights as we believe that the country can prosper only if all the communities exercise their fullest potential.

He was talking to PML-N Sindh Minority Wing President Sham Sundar Advani who called on him at PM House. Sham Sundar apprised the prime minister on the minority affairs in Sindh Province.

The prime minister lauded the role and contributions of all minorities in Pakistan towards the collective objective of attaining a truly prosperous and developed Pakistan. “The present democratic government is committed to ensure equal opportunities for all the communities in a harmonious manner,” the PM concluded.
