Govt extends deadline for depositing Hajj dues

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has extended the deadline for depositing Hajj 2022 dues in various banks till Saturday, in response to pleas from pilgrims from far-flung places (today)

Banks have been urged to keep their branches open across the country so that successful applicants can deposit their dues on Saturday, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony (today).

Earlier, the Saudi government notified that until the end of the Hajj season, entry into the Holy City of Makkah will be limited to residents of Makkah and those who hold only job, Umrah or Hajj permits.
