Imran Khan, a former prime minister, has asked people from all walks of life to come to a public meeting for a “sovereign” and “independent” Pakistan.

This will be the third public meeting of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) since the PTI government lost a vote of no-confidence against Imran Khan. The PPP and the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) were part of a joint opposition alliance against the PTI government.
